My Journey

From my student days, marked by consistently high grades and graduating at the top of my class, my journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. After high school, I took a brief sabbatical from academia to gain practical work experience. This time in the professional world was enlightening, but at 20, I felt a strong pull toward higher education and embarked on my bachelor’s degree.

These years weren’t just about earning a degree; they were a deep dive into the realms of computer science. Post-2007, I began my career as a computer science professional, a role that allowed me to apply and expand upon my collegiate learnings. It was during this period that I realized the highly intertwined nature of academic theory and professional practice in software engineering.

My academic journey led me to entrepreneurship, where I founded a startup focused on developing a geo-fencing-based advertisement platform. Despite its eventual failure, this venture was a valuable learning experience, teaching me crucial lessons about business resilience and the importance of aligning technological innovations with business objectives. This experience prompted a shift towards a service-based business model.

I pursued a long-held ambition to study in the United States, achieving a master’s degree with a GPA of 3.86. Post-master’s, I had the opportunity to study artificial intelligence on-campus at Stanford University and have become a regular visitor at the Simons Institute at UC Berkeley, engaging deeply with cutting-edge research and discussions. Additionally, I have training as a Certified Ethical Hacker, further enhancing my expertise in cybersecurity.

Following this, I found my way to Silicon Valley, where I collaborate with talented individuals from both professional and academic backgrounds. My work involves building software systems with a strong emphasis on customer needs, security, and efficiency.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned the critical importance of aligning technical efforts with business goals, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, sustainable, and secure. This alignment is vital for business success, a lesson reinforced throughout my academic and professional experiences. I take great pride in my journey, recognizing that each step has contributed significantly to my growth as both a professional and a scholar.
