HubSpot Integration Jobs Proportion

Introduction

This paper discusses the HubSpot integration jobs proportion for total Hubspot jobs that are posted on Upwork. Upwork being one of the top freelance job portals in the world, is a good place to sample what customers are looking for and challenges when working with the HubSpot CRM. The research conducted as part of this paper draws a good size job sample from Upwork and makes statistical interpretations and inferences based on test statistics, which is the integration job proportion.

Methodology

Sample Selection

For the purpose of this research, data from 4404 Upwork HubSpot job posts were collected over a period of 8 months, from January 2, 2022, to August 2, 2022. Simple random sampling was used to draw a sample of 400 jobs from the population, which represents about 10% of the total and should be enough to approximate the binomial distribution with a normal distribution.

Discrete Distributions

Each job post in the sample was assigned a category. Thus, the data is discrete. The possible categories are integration, CMS, and others. The category assignment was done manually.

Success Event

The “success” event for the experiment is a job post having category integration. Any other outcome was designated as “not success” to keep the binomial distribution relevant.

Result

Binomial Proportion

The total number of successes recorded was 68 yielding a binomial proportion of 17%.
